BMW Finance calc

Evening all,

Has anyone got experience of the finance calculator on the BMW website with regard to their used stock?

Curious to know how accurate it is when moving the sliders around with regard to how deposit amount and term affect the monthlies. I'm assuming it has to be pretty accurate as those that care would be all over BMWFS for advertising something they couldn't provide?

If I'm seeing a price on the used site, is it something I could realistically send to the dealer in question and expect to receive just that?

TIA

Used APR is usually ridiculously high 10+%, it's a typical APR so not available to everyone based on credit rating.

Just had a quick look at the used cars site - there is small print on the page just by the finance example which says

"Finance available subject to credit acceptance to UK residents aged 18 or over. Guarantees and indemnities may be required. Terms and conditions apply. Offer may be varied, withdrawn or extended at any time. This quotation is not a binding offer to enter into a finance agreement."

In terms of the the numbers you see using the sliders then yes they are accurate and often with the silly APR and high price of the used stock at the moment very expensive, should you want to transact at the prices shown the dealer will bite your arm off if credit worthy.

I'm looking as well at the moment and see very little if any value in the market right now.

The 7 series deals look tempting the 745e or 730d I think the electric range of the 45e means the price difference on the lease would be offset by using the EV bit on most of my local journeys.

Great stuff! A possible return to luxury barging. I'd imagine the 45e will be a lovely match for the serenity of a 7.

Moving the sliders will be accurate in terms of deposit, duration.

Not sure if the GFV is always accurate, which will mean the numbers are indicative until you get an actual dealer quote.

Never had the GFV change from the advertised numbers, the numbers come from BMWFS not the dealers, they have zero influence on the GFV.
