This was funneh
-Rashad is a good sport -He's in Canada so their rules for good taste don't apply to us My favorite line was about the steak, I was really hoping you were going to say adding A-1 to it verses cooking it well done, but same point ultimately. Show us the pics, show us the pics..... |

If done right it looks good. A soft white on an all black car, for eg.
Too many elitists in this forum who think a bmw means they made it or are better then other people with cars that cost less. The Honda jokes are so tired. Plenty of those that would wipe our cars EASY for far cheaper, and are much more reliable. If bmw did this from factory they would all be drooling like sheep lol. "Much classy, need M glow". In for pics!

I’ve actually considered this... not on the back but on the fenders/wings since that is how MSports come outside the US.
OP. Not my thing since the late 90s... but you do what you like, just be safe about how you do it. Side note: Rashad earned my respect by being a good sport and positive. Well done, sir.

But who knows, mom jeans are apparently back in style, maybe ground effects will make a resurgence.

Only reply to this thread at this point if you've ever done more than charge pipes, M3 grills, or red start button mods to your car.

I think most people hating on the idea all at OPs age either did it themselves and wont admit or wanted to do it - and got so much crap for it or cringed themselves for even thinking about it at the time. So now, with all that wisdom they are just telling the guy DONT. Not in a mean way, but in a "dont do this mistake I did" kind of way. But - noone likes to be told what to do - so, OP good luck, you heard opinions, learn your lesson and be careful with the install.

The ground negative is anywhere on the unpainted metal body/frame. The negative runs throughout the entire car and provides electricity for all the components through it. Believe it or not, the positive red wire is where the electricity goes back into the battery. You can run a wire directly from the battery and is probably the best option to avoid finding switched leads. You should definitely run it using a fused (you shouldn't need more than 20 amps for LED) and switched positive lead to the battery, preferably a wireless switch to reduce clutter. It's an extremely simple wiring schematic. Good luck
