2019 440i xDrive M-Sport Coupe Smoke Topaz Metallic

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I am listing here first... Rare BMW 440i xDrive in Individual Smoked Topaz Metallic exterior with an Opal White Extended Merino Leather Interior with full leather dashboard and extended leather on doors! Only 34,500 miles. This color combination was first displayed at the Detroit Auto Show in 2017. With an original MSRP of $69,905, this is not lacking options (almost $17K options) including M-Sport Package with Adaptive Suspension, Executive Package, Driving Assistance Package, HUD (Heads Up Display), Heated Steering Wheel, Wireless Charging, Dynamic Digital Cluster (this is really cool!) rare Adaptive Cruise Control and more! This is a very clean, low mile example of the F32, always garaged and babied. Comes with full PPF protection and Ceramic Tinted windows. this has a clean CarFax, no accidents. I have two sets of wheels, both sets with nearly new Michelins, you can choose the 19" Staggered 403M, the Summer 20" Staggered 405M wheels or negotiate for the extra set. I have yet to see in person this color on another BMW! A BMW as this only comes up occasionally, even rarer with this many options! Here's your chance to own a stunning example of a F32 4-Series from a meticulous owner. Clean Green Michigan title makes this an easy transaction. Located in Rochester, Michigan

Upgrades to vehicle:
  • Eibach Springs to lower vehicle 3/4" (RWD Height) so wheels are square in the wheel wells, OEM springs will supplied with vehicle
  • Full PPF
  • Ceramic Tint windows 35% sides, 95% rear window
  • Brake Rotors coated with Ceramic Paint in Gold
  • IND Color Matched Front Reflectors
  • IND Color Matched Rear Reflectors Rear, Original rear reflectors will be provided with vehicle
  • IND Black Ceramic 440I on Trunk, Original tag will be provided with vehicle
  • xDrive tag removed from Rear, Original tag will be provided with vehicle
  • No engine modifications

Extras:
  • I will provide the BMW Window Shade, easy to put up and keeps UV rays off leather
  • BMW All Season Floor Mats

Flaws, one can expect a few with a 5 year old vehicle and 34K miles, I will provide pictures as requested by interested parties:
  • Small mark in front facia
  • Very small paint chip behind drivers door
  • Some marks on PPF coating
  • Drivers seat leather bolster is showing some wear
  • The original passenger carpet floor mat is missing; I will provide the BMW all weather mats

I love this car! after owning several BMW's over the decades, this is my favorite one, the F32 440i is refined and a pleasure to drive. When I apply the adaptive suspension, this feels like a go cart! Reason for selling is purchase of dream car, a Porsche 911 Cabriolet.

Whoever buys this just add MPPSK or an aftermarket tune and you're golden. The individual interior and paint are beautiful!

Just gorgeous!! Reminds me of the guy who posted his late father’s unique 440i xDrive very similar to this a while back. We encouraged him to keep it, but he said he couldn’t afford to. His was not an M Sport and just slightly less well equipped as yours. GLWS!!

Awesome and very rare and loaded spec! Would have loved to have been able to spec a Merino leather interior for the F31.

Only pack missing on this bad boy is the THP.

The ZTR Track Handling Package:
  • 23N 18" V-Spoke orbit grey wheels, style
  • 23N 18" V-Spoke orbit grey wheels, style
    398with performance non run-flat tires
    (style 398)
    or 21W - 19" M Double-spoke orbit grey
    wheels Style 704M with performance
    rft
or 25H - 19" Bi-Color Orbit Grey StarSpoke Wheels Style 407 with Mixed
    Performance Tires
  • 2NH M Sport Brakes
  • 2VF Adaptive M Suspension
  • 2VL Variable sport steering

The track package also included the raised "High Speed Limiter" raising the top speed from 135 MPH to 155 MPH. However, this build does have the "Adaptive Suspension" piece of the THP Package. Yet, the Gold brake rotors I believe are a perfect match for the body color and closely resemble the ceramic brake package color of an "M" car.
Additionally, this build from the factory came with standard 400M 18" rims, I updated with the Staggered wheels. Although these 403M wheels were not offered as an option the 4-series (these came off my 335i that was totaled), it was a $900 option for the 19" wheels. The 20" 405M wheels were purchased from BMW as a "Wheel Set" (Rims, tires and fully balanced) ready to mount on your car, this set listed for I believe $5,495.

Therefore, if you were to add in the upgraded wheels, the MSRP would have exceeded $70,000! Very few 440i F32 vehicles built exceeded $70K... very few.

This price falls as a "Good Deal" in Cars website, yet this site does not account for individual paint and extended leather interiors.

I didn't know adaptive could be ordered standalone/a la carte. Cool!

THP for the B58s also included an additional aux radiator from my understanding.

Your F32 definitely has a big buck sticker price broski. Hope it goes to a good home.

You are correct, I forgot the oil cooler I believe.

I do love this car and it needs an appreciative new owner. I want one who will truly appreciate and be grateful to have this build.

First calls are always the low Ballers scavenging the landscape for desperate impatient sellers to score a quick profit...
then the dealers follow with their trade in prices after you've been insulted by the previous group so they can buy low and list at top dollar.
This is followed by inquiries from the ones who really want the car, the ones who have been waiting for the right one...this is where I am at now, it pays to be patient...

Me, too!! Congrats!! It’s amazing what happens when you have a really nice and rare car and yet you still price it correctly, isn’t it? According to Bimmerpost classified rules you really should have listed this car for at least $80,000.

HaHa, I sold it a little under asking, but they bought all my accessories (Wheels, Spacers, Blendmount, etc.) separate, so that surpassed the small discount, and I don't have to spend time on listing and packaging small items I will not use. Buyer just graduated college and had been looking for a 440i since graduation last summer, patience pays off! Great timing for me too, he drove off yesterday, new car getting delivered today! So the spot in garage is open!

He just posted on Facebook in the B58 Enthusiasts group. Why doesn’t it surprise me that a Facebook Marketplace buyer saw the value in this car before a Bimmerposter did?

Facebook reaches out to a wider audience and has more people inclined to visit it daily vs this forum. I did buy my 340i from this forum. The seller also had it in auto trader and Facebook marketplace.

There’s no doubt both of those places have a much wider reach in terms of numbers, but there’s also no doubt that Bimmerpost forum members are much more knowledgeable about BMWs than the wider world. I don’t have statistics, but I think you are probably in the minority of folks here on the forum who bought their car from a listing on the forum. In my experience the Bimmerpost classified forums and even the BMW CCA classified forum have never yielded a serious potential purchaser for any of the cars I have listed. It’s a phenomenon I really don’t understand. But, I also don’t understand what makes forum members have such a high propensity to believe their cars are worth substantially more than the market dictates.

I listed here first prior to my final full detail of the car thinking to give viewers here first shot from these forums as I enjoy the discourse and the people. Then I listed on Facebook and Cars next evening. The purchaser came from Facebook. I did not have a single inquiry from Cars and although many likes, a valid request from this site finally came after the Facebook buyer and I had a pending agreement. My presumption is most on this site already have the vehicle they like and very few members are searching for a F3x at any given moment, and most here seem to be looking for a sedan vs. coupe. The coupe is a rarer car and less in demand as is illustrated when I pulled every 2018-20 440i xDrive Coupe with under 40K miles in the USA on Cars, only 27 BMW 440i' xDrive's pop up! After owning both a 335i and 440i, I enjoyed the 440i better, the sloped back look of the 4-Series looks so much better IMHO and the lower stance and wider track make it a better driver. The buyer told me he was looking for the right 440i for 6 months, so the 4-series is a bigger challenge to find "The Right One". Thanks to all who commented on my vehicle, it IS my favorite BMW I have ever owned over the decades!

Man, this was a sick car! If you ever want to hop back into an individual F32, I'll save my Valencia Orange MPE 440i xDrive for ya! Enjoy your Porsche.
