Interesting product.

Have used Chipex before, but it seems a little crude by comparison to that pen.

Well you can get just as good results with a fine artist brush and some good magnifying glasses to see the detail and even the paint out in the chip.

Not sure how that would work with a vertical surface as well!

Had a go with my friends Chipex and I just couldn't get it to take or look any good no matter how many youtube videos and methods I tried.

It takes a bit of time to get the hang of it, not as easy as it looks. Basically you put paint on and wipe the excess off with thinners, when you're trying to leave such a small amount behind in the chip recess it's all too easy to wipe that out as well.

I've just done a few on the daughters car which in fairness has worked but took time. My F31 has loads of chips and road rash on the front bumper, thats off for a respray, with the experience I've had of Chipex I wouldn't even attempt to do that one.
