I checked today and there’s no mention of the new packs when I log in. It tells me my current ones expire on the 26th, but they can’t be extended.

I can see the new packs before I actually log in.

I can still see L when I log in and all before log in. Still can’t see the one I would want ie M after log in.

I don't think you'll see the packs until yours runs out

Pack M may be for difference hardware than what you have

Not yet, but I can now see the Connected Booster L for £79 when I log in. None of the others though.

Doesn’t seem that anyone is seeing M or XL available. I know it takes a while to start on the vehicle but perhaps anyone that has bought L could confirm when they see the OTA map updates being pushed out. I still have my doubts about the product descriptions.

I believe you are only seeing the Packages that are suitable to your car...I'm guessing that maybe M is for Entry Level Sat Nav, Mine is Pro Nav iDrive 6 and I got L.

Purchased my package this morning at 0730, at 0800 I went into my vehicles and can already see the OTA Map selections and the USB downloads which has identified I have a map update from 2021-1 to 2021-3 which I'm downloading now with 10% left to go

Great thanks for confirming. Did the new L package add 12 months to your old subscription expiry date? Wondering as I can buy L now but my RTTI doesnt expire until early Dec.

All my previous items expired in April, I believe that if you are within 14 days of a service expiring you can then extend it or in this case have it as part of a new package

Just bought the L package and have already downloaded the map update.

Realy glad I didn't jump in and buy the old package at the normal price when I got the car in July....

Log into BMW, go to your account and select 'My Vehicles' then click on 'Vehicle Details' for your car and scroll down to the Map Update section..in there are instructions to do a manual map update

You should see the option for OTA updates (check the region selected is correct) and also a 'Manual Update' option which is what you need to download the whole map.....
