No problem! You don't have to ask me twice for a moment to show off my car

Yes, but with some extra work.

Unlike the f32, our f36s have extra x-bar framework underneath the car. I will upload a picture when I get home today, but the pipe will touch the x-frame and cause vibrations. To get around this, you can rotate the Midpipe a certain number of degrees to lift it off the x-frame, but it will cause your muffler to tilt downward. In turn, your tailpipes will be pointing downward. My shop cut off my tailpipes and rewelded them on at the correct elevation to fix this and I haven’t had a problem at all.

1. Frame where midpipe will touch if not "properly" installed.

2. Where the tailpipes need to be cut and rotated to match altitude

This is what happened to me and how I fixed it. I can't say it will be the exact same for you

Ooooo interesting. I’d imagine Dinan Elite to be very similar.

I was hesitant to spend ~200 dollars for very small hp and tq improvements (if any at all). Buuuuut here I am. *As many others have pointed out, the sound alone is intoxicating. The sound of the turbo spooling up and the "whooshing" sound pleases the ears. *If sound is important to you, I would highly recommend. If not, I wouldn't worry about this mod. *I installed this myself in under 10 minutes.
I've also got the BMS Intake but I can barely hear the "whooshing" sound. I can't really hear it from your clip as well?

The whooshing sound is when you let off the throttle after giving her some gas to munch on. In the video, I am under hard acceleration which is why you cannot hear the turbo release pressure. Also, the exhaust overwhelms the turbo sound while under high load and sport exhaust (video was recorded using my crappy phone mic so it leaves out details in the sound).

I wouldn't say the intake creates an overly loud sound, but I immediately noticed it after installing the intake.

Do you have a tune with your intake? More boost = more sound

No, Dinan parts do not void your warranty. I would look at Dinan's website for more in-depth info

I haven't noticed any issues with my downpipe at all.
Hey boss! This gasket you’re referring to- where did you purchase it ? What’s the specific name of it? Downpipe gasket? Lol

I had my 328xi dyno'd just for shits and giggles cuz I was having a ton of other work done to it last summer. My local third party bimmer specialty shop just disconnected the front driveshaft for the dyno, took 'em less than 15 minutes to both disconnect and reconnect it and they didn't even charge me. Obviously you'll lose a BIT of power but still good enough to give you a pretty damn good idea of what you are putting down. A dynojet said my stage 1 328xi was putting 250hp /306 lb/ft of torque to the wheels which was pretty goddamn good for a car rated at 240hp from factory lol.
