Flashed updated Stage 2+....anyone notice a change in idle now. It was so smooth and consistent with the Beta map.

It's basically a no-brainer, they have a good reputation and their prices are affordable. My car is a daily too and not being tracked (M235i).

one of biggest considerations IMO is the quality of fuel available and/or access/willing to mix E85...these cars WakeTFU on corn...making a mountain of tq under 4.5k...blasting off in M2 and short shifting on 3/4 throttle is plenty fast for the streets...

poor fuel zaps alot of the zip out of the stg 1/2 tunes...esp ACN91 and Canadian fuels...

IMO, if you have crap fuel don't bother stg 1...
only decent gains to be felt at stg2/2+ with 91oct etc...at least do d/p...makes a big difference, plus they sound so much better...

I've noticed after a flash the idle to be rough for a few seconds and this happens the first couple startups--after that smooth as stock.

Don't be scared--these cars are made to run performance. Will depend on how you drive as far as things breaking. Drive mellow most of the time and hit it from time to time and you will be ok. People redlining all the time and when the car is cold run into much more problems.

Yeah, my car with stage 2 and e30 map is running strong--very few places and opportunities to run hard really.

Does the stage 1 93oct take some miles to start "feeling" it? Or is instant?
Not very interested in swapping components for stage 2+ or burble stuff. People happy with stage 1 only?

Stage 1 should feel great on EWG. It's very similar to the factory M2 tune.

Stage 1 on PWG - I'd be wanting to upgrade DP, FMIC or both and step up to Stg2/+.

Your running stage 2 95 map right? I have been running stage 2 91 e30 map and using e85. Wondering if I were to use boostane would i continue with e30 map or go to higher octane stage 2.

running stage 2+ 95map... e20map is setup only for using ethanol I'm told... best benefits would be using 95map I'm told ... my timing is up around 11.2 without correction.... gonna add some more after this tank and see... car is still learning...

93map 93 octane was half of the timing across the board...

So since you've been running ethanol... will be interesting to see some logs on different maps...

I have not purchased any boostane now..just playing with the idea. Obviously I did buy the e30 map, so it would kind of suck if running boostane on higher octane map runs better than ethanol map..but, hey it's all pay, play and try.

I tried to flash Stage 2 today and it wrote I didn't had the license. I tough stage 2 was included with the purchase of the flasher monitor and license for stage 1 for beta users. Seems I was wrong

I was under the same impression....but nope i had to buy the stage 2 map pack. I am considering buying the E maps but with the introduction/idea of Boostane to amp up octane for using the 95oct map, i might just go that route and save some money.

If you were a beta tester, you should be able to get stage 2 included. I had the same thing, so I emailed MHD and they unlocked it for me.

The Flasher Module is $249, Monitor Module is $99 and all other map packs are $99 each (stage 1, stage 2 and E-maps)
