Question F30 wipers parking position

Since my car was serviced I have wondered if my wipers are too high on the windscreen when they are in the parked position. Shouldn’t they be lower, underneath the trailing edge of the bonnet? If so, how do I get them reset and tucked below the bonnet?

I wonder if it's a relay issue as a relay on it's way out mens the wipers don't work or don't sit right:

For the record mine sit similar.

Thanks for that - if mine are ‘high’ it is only marginal based on that photo.

Agree, if they are high it's only very slight. I wouldn't worry.

My wipers sit exactly the same. Passenger side has always sat slightly higher up.

I remembered this thread earlier today when I went out and looked at mine, which sit in a similar position.

I have the same issue and it took a while to figure out. When the windscreen is relatively dry (e.g one wipe to get rid of a little water) they return tot he "high position". However if you wash the screen or it is pelting down, then they return to the lower position. I think it is to do with the friction on the screen preventing them from going "fully" down. Initially I was concerned with mine but a few experiments led me to the above conclusion - nothing to worry about.

I think all that can be said about the position of windscreen wipers has been said.

Let's end this thread right here right now.

No. I think passenger side should be lower.

Thanks bro.
That passenger wiper is too high and it just looks out of place. I hope they fired that wiper designer.

If you look closer at a passenger's wiper there is no way to align it horizontally due to length of a wiper, can you not see it?
It is always a challenge to design wipers in a manner they are compatible with a curved windscreen to clean as much surface as possible.
I remember driving ford fiesta mk2 many years ago where during a heaviest rain and strongest winds wipers collided with each other, possibly due to wrongly selected size of a wiper and maybe due to a bit too weak wiper arms, and as a result one was bent during a drive, was quite dangerous as could hardly see anything during that heavy thunderstorm, had to pull to a hard shoulder wait for weather to clear a bit and continue to a garage with one wiper.
