Evolve ECU Remaps over view for 3/4 F Series

We have been tuning the F series cars as soon the ECU protocols were available so thought it would be a good idea to consolidate all the details into one post to show forum members what tuning we have available.

Think I will stick with a tuning box as not wanting to have th ECU opened up.

I have a 335i with the m performance power kit and according to the sports dials I'm getting around 350/60 bhp, if you remapped it would you get much more out of it?

What's causing the torque dip from the 30D between approximately 2000-2800rpm ?

The horses peak early too around 3600rpm, shouldn't the power peak around 4000/4100rpm ?

That's what I'd expect.

I would like a flatter torque curve on the M3/4 as most of whats shown is way to high up the rev range.

The map on my tuning box looks a lot smoother, has it been smoothed out or is it a true reflection of the actual output

A 335i is 800 quid so 720 with a discount. Is a 340i the same? What benefits over a good tuning box does it give?

cheers

A 'good' remap will give you a more power than a decent tuning box in most cases if that's a benefit?

Cheers

Yes our dyno does not do graph smoothing like SSR dyno.

On our dyno (which reads within a few BHP of Surrey Rolling Road) we would see around 390-400 BHP.

Its the way the car loads up on the dyno. If you look all the graphs have a similar dip towards the beginning of the graph.

Its making more BHP and Torque in the low to mid range than at higher RPM's so not quite sure what you mean.

We are unable to tune the B58 engine at the moment as we do not not have access to read/write the ECU at present.

Maybe how it looks to me, if it is making more mid-range that would be great.
That is where we all spend most time.
