Creaking rear of car
Anyone know what the creaking at the rear of my car could be? it only happens when I go over my dropped kerb or reverse back up it. It sounds like it's coming from the boot area?
Any ideas please? slowly losing the will to keep this car. |

Definitely is the door seals I have treated them with gummi plfedge and do so every other week.
The only thing I have in the boot is the rubber liner and an umbrella. This sounds like it's a chassis flex noise but from the boot. |

Could be a suspension 'rose' joint, mine was replaced a few months ago as it started squeaking constantly whilst driving on uneven roads.

Mine creaks from behind the plastic N/S/R seatbelt cover. Sit in the back and (dare I say it) get someone to drive your car while you rummage around looking for the noise.

I tried this but got my brother to sit in the back.. he didn't have a clue where to look because the noise is quite faint the majority of people won't hear it, but as the driver you hear everything (only when there's no music playing & going over bumps) the other thing is the noise is very difficult to pinpoint as it seems like it's not localised.
