Style 408 on F30?

I have a 2014 328i xDrive Sports Line sedan with style 401's on it.

Front: 19x8J ET36 with 225/40/R19
Rear: 19x8.5J ET47 with 255/35/R19

My question is would I be able to put style 408's on my car?

Front: 19x9J ET25 with 225/40/R19
Rear: 19x9J ET32 with 255/35/R19

I used willtheyfit.com for some more specs.

Front: "Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 1.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 23.7mm more than before."

Rear: "Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 8.6mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 21.4mm more than before."

All help is much appreciated!

from the info you've obtained, it is like you are putting a 23.7mm spacer up front and a 21.4mm spacer in the rear on your current stock wheels. peeps typically use 10-12.5mm up front and 12.5-15mm in the rear on oem wheels to get the outer shoulder flush. with the new set up your wheels will be poking out from flush about 12mm up front and 8mm in the rear.

you'll have to add negative camber and lower it to get the outer shoulder flush. with stock suspension and camber it won't look good. however if you like the "poked out" look, have at it.

Thank you for the reply. I just want to know whether swapping the wheels would cause any issues with the car or drive of the car. Do you think the new wheels would be fine for the car?

the only thing i am uncertain of is if the outer shoulder of the front tire will rub the fenderwell while turning at full lock. if it does not, there should not be any other issues running that set up.

when i look at the front tire comparison schematic. it looks like it won't rub because the front tire is stretched massively (30mm stretch, 15mm each bead) so the shoulder of the new setup is just poking a bit farther out than the stock setup.

new set up should be okay

Okay great! Once I get them mounted I’ll reply with some pics and see if they make any contact when turning the wheel all the way in either direction.

It is pretty interesting how you will have an et 25 on the front and et 32 on the rear, that is pretty uncommon, but you will be able to fit those, you could also switch the rims, so the et 25 will go on the rear. But both ways you will be able to fit them.

Here you go..
My front tires rub a little turning wheels full lock but I have 255 in the front as well. Rear rubs only sometimes if going over certain bumps. I've gotten used to it now.

Kept this wheel/tire setup because had it for my m5. Didn't wanna spend money to change out to slightly smaller tires since I will only have the car for one more winter.

Are you running 255/40/19s?
I’m looking at getting this exact set up for my f30. I am on H&R sport springs however

Yes. Can't say if the springs will help or hurt more though in your situation.
