M performance suspension fit on 340i sportline?

I’m in the mist of a full blown m performance makeover and I’m getting all kinds of confusion from dealers, web and forums on whether the m performance suspension fits on the 340i or not. Anyone know definitely?

Thanks !!

This should be your kit: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=03_3994

Easier if I have the last 7 of your vin.

You will also need to replace your sway bars. I recommend going with H&R rather than the factory m sport ones.

More info attached.

OK that's the correct kit - the one I posted.

It is a retrofit for many different models. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...&q=33502409928

Sway bar kit here: https://www.tirerack.com/suspension/...kg+Non-Runflat

http://www.hrsprings.com/application...s/4/1776/2016/

Kit number 72878-5

You will also need the following springs plus pads.

FRONT: 31 33 6 860 631
Upper spring pad 31 30 6 791 712
Lower spring pad 31 33 6 787 114

REAR: 33 53 6 860 622
Upper sprint pad 33 53 6 764 419
Lower spring pad 33 53 6 791 709

Good luck.

So I just got a quote from a local reputable Bmw mechanic shop in OC (bullet- in case anyone knows)
They quoted me the following to install the full M performance suspension kit with front and rear sway bars (which are required if you don’t have a m sport 340i)
Does $1310 sound reasonable !??
Breakdown
$ 750- spring/struts and the front sway bar
$ 400- rear sway bar
$160 - for the alignment

This really depends on where you live. For reference, I live in CT and I got several quotes to install just coilovers and align (no sway bars) between $800-1000 OTD. That job I was quoted 6.5 labor hours by every shop independently (kind of uncanny). The sway bars do require the subframe to be dropped for install to an F30, I haven't been quoted, but a three hour labor charge makes sense. Alignment looks pretty standard.

Nice to see another OC forum member. PM me for a recommendation of a shop that I know very well. They do great work.

appreciate all the help. Man I was really hoping to do this for less than $800-$900 but the whole dropping the subframe just to swap out sway bars is really destroying the pros of installing this suspension.. ugh. $1900 for the kit and $1300 to install doesn't feel right.

Can someone please explain to me, why is it necessary to install the sway bars for this suspension install for a non-M (sportline) F30?
