I've seen some sweet dealer badges around here in the Philly area. BMW of the mainline and Devon have really cool looking badges.

First badge of that dealer is the older version.
Second photo, the badge is the blue and white shield.

My dealer only adds a license plate bracket. I greatly appreciate that because I would remove it regardless of how 'cool' it looks.

Will be interesting to see some of them, though.

Where are the pics of the ones that you mentioned?

I'm surprised you didn't mention West German BMW. When I first saw those badges, I thought WG was a performance part and not a dealership

It's a nice one, but I'd still remove it anyway

Yeah, I usually remove dealer badges immediately with a car purchase, unless theyre willing to pay me for the free advertising

I take them off. I remember, some time ago, when I lived near Chicago, it was common to drill holes in the trunk and screw dealer emblems on. They also salted the roads, so salt would get in and rust out the trunk lid.

These cars are meant to look clean, adding unnecessary decals and emblems really make them look shitty. Only the stock model emblem should be on there imo.

Personally I don't even like the Xdrive emblem, haven't had time to remove it but I will one day.

BMW of Sterling (VA) has a badge shaped like that of Devon & Otto's but not nearly as cool - has dealer name in writing & a graphic. Otto's badge is the Bavarian flag so I'm good with that, but don't display one. Euro Motorcars has M-B dealers in the suburban Maryland/DC area & Phila.
BMW CCA recently introduced a trunk badge vs. their various grill badges.

So I have all those badges and the plate... my E93 is from Otto's and the shield is still there.... my F31 is from Main Line... but all badges are gone.

Nice! I like the shield bmw of devon has. I think the emblems are a more "powerful marketing" tool than the name itself. Without actually saying the name. Mine just had the dealer name which was super wack so i took that off and the plate. But if my dealer had a cool badge i would def leave it on.

Thanks, the vert is our weekend car which is shared... I was told to leave it alone... so I have. My daily has been 'adjusted '

I live close to Devon BMW.... I have the Main Line plate surround in the garage from my wagon.

West German is the cool one... I thought it was a special model when I first moved to PA!
