Miles when receiving your new car from Germany....
Good morning guys,
My new 440i is in the last days of travel before arriving at the port in California for customs and port installed options. Can anyone tell me how many miles were accumulated by the time they took possession of their new car? Also how long does it take to get thru the VDC? |

Most new BMWs I have seen at the dealerships have had 7 to 10 miles on them. Mine must have been taken for a demo ride because it had 20 miles on it before I took it for a demo ride and later that day bought it. They let me have a long demo ride because I got it up to 58 miles before purchase.

My 2018 Gran Coupe had 8 miles when I picked it up.

My two custom orders(spaced out by 12 years) both had 3 miles when rolled off the trucks. At delivery they had 5 miles, and 3-5 miles were added in my test drives.
