Scheme to Steal a F30..?
I just read this article on Jalopnik. The editor thinks the were disabling the alarm to come back and steal it later. I think if they have that much knowledge, they were going to steal it that night and got spooked during the robbery attempt. Thoughts?

My guess is they got interrupted in stealing it the first time. There really is no point in smashing the window, disabling the alarm on day 1 and then coming back for day 2 to get the car.

Agreed. This is why I just make sure my insurance is paid on time and otherwise tend to live blissfully ignorant. The way thieves are "evolving" there's nothing you can do to stop the right person from taking what they want. Just sad that it's the way it is.

Why not just get a code capture device? Bentley and other cars are easily stolen. You could also get a repeater amp of sorts so it amps the key fob output in your home to fool the car into thinking you have it close by. There are others ways....
