N26 2nd cat delete GTA

Wondering if anyone in the GTA has an N26 that they’ve deleted the secondary cat after the DP and left the rest of the exhaust stock? If so how is the sound/performance and how much did it cost you?

I've done that but I'm in California. I did it by buying an AWE mid pipe. Was very easy to do myself. You will need a pipe cutter to cut the axle back exhaust and install it with the new mid pipe however.

The sound and performance are great. I still have my stock mid pipe to swap back in when it's time for smog if needed.

Ya I looked at that and the Awe midpipe is way too much. I have no plans on putting in an aftermarket exhaust and just want to cut out the bottleneck after my high flow downpipe. Getting quotes around $220 to delete the cat instead of $1000CAD for the midpipe

I thought Canada only came with the N20 engines.

Definitely N26s in Canada, but they don’t come with the SULEV warranty they get in the states. Perhaps there are not many based on the lack of feedback here.

Getting the cat delete done may 23rd with a 3” mandrel 45 pipe. Will post a before and after pic should any N26 owners stumble into the thread.

Great work by gtcustomexhaust.com in pickering. Highly recommend if you need any custom work done. Oval 3" mandrel 45 degree into a mandrel oval to standard exhaust

Haven’t run it much since I got it done but I wouldn’t say I could feel a difference. I’m going to clear my adaptations and see if it picks up any better.

Revving the engine gives a more throaty noise and I had a couple light burbles. Haven’t noticed much while driving as I wasn’t punching it. I’ll report back in a bit once I get a few more KMs on it.

Emission testing was cancelled where I live so I don’t have to worry about that. Even when it was going they just checked for a CEL which BM3 suppresses.

Ended up installing a DV+ and removed my charcoal filter so I’m not sure if butt dyno’s will be as valuable as I test further. But will provide some feedback in a bit.
