Great results from my non-stepped GPlus. Makes a big difference during summer, especially on track.

It's a no brainier for the money.

I got one on eBay for $218 shipped, you just have to look for “ bmw 1/2/3/4 series F20 F22 F32 bolt on performance intercooler”. It bolted on with no problems, just make sure to remove the old intercooler shroud.

Just bought this on Amazon. $199 including free shipping. Delivery date estimate is 3/8-3/14. Thanks to everyone for providing enough data and owner experience to let me trust this product. Saving a bundle on this part will help me achieve my goal of upgrading the charge air circuit pieces on my N26 for under $1,000. I will post impressions/photos once the unit arrives.

Here are a few photos of the product I just received it today via FEDEX. The box was well wrapped and the exterior of the package didn't have any damage.

Now some of the fins appeared to be "damaged". Not many but a few and not sure if that would oppose an issue down the line.

^ FWIW... I believe that I had a couple (literally 2-3 max) slightly bent fins on mine as well. I gently straightened them with a small flat head.

I would be hard pressed to believe that this makes a difference in performance.

Just trying to be completely transparent.

I agree, i figured not ever singly find could be perfect. I'm not too worried. Will install in the weeks to come and will update.

Bends in the fins won't hurt anything as long as they're minor. That will happen with rocks/stones over time anyway. You only have to worry if there are broken fins or holes in the surface of the IC.

Yes. That's the engine that I have. It's essentially an N20 with a few enhanced parts.

So Treadstone Performance Engineering charge pipes and G-Plus intercooler is the best bang for the buck way to go? I had heard that the VSRF intercoolers were cheap, but fit like shit and now this one is even cheaper and fits better? Hard to believe, but awesome if true.

My VRSF FMIC fit fine save for the fan shroud tabs, which I fixed in 5 minutes with a sawzall. So not perfect, but definitely not like shit. It also actually works at keeping IATs down, something that's been an interesting exclusion in this discussion. It doesn't matter how well it fits if it doesn't do what its supposed to. I'd be curious to see a log of a car with a G-Plus FMIC... It might be great, I don't know, but I'd be interested to find out.

Mine had zero install issues. Thats all I can comment on.

Fit super tight which is what we want.

Zero modifications made on my build.

I installed a g plus intercooler on my 435 and was pleasantly surprised. Great quality especially for the price, mine arrived in mint condition no bent fins etc. all piping fit tight and vast improvement over the stock piece.

No I hadn't. That's all I was looking for, and those graphs prove it's doing it's job well. Not hating, just questioning

The (black) eagle has landed.

Packed well, no bent fins, one little set of marks on the finish on the front right side (see pic) and lots of dust in the end tanks.

Used my leaf blower on blasted out the dust to ensure it doesn't get inhaled by the engine.

Overall, pretty pleased so far.
