Fixed the stereo issue, where left and right is switched. Easy and permanent fix by switching cables in the AUX connector. Only trouble would be if the Chinese fixes the error programmatically.

Perfect location for the LTE/4G antenna? I tried different locations, comparable to outside reception right behind the Android unit.

Fixed microphone issue. First I bought a $3 mic from eBay. Better than the built in one, but only because you can have it closer to your face. Then I found this stiff priced $29 mic from Taiwan (company info). Must be quality for that price? Yes, very high build quality, sound is louder and clearer, and the directional function is working also. But even with this mic, there are issues when the car is running at high speed.

I finally had to cut the built in mic to get rid of echos and bad sound. You can do this without opening the chassis and brake the warranty label, just open the side where the mic is located, with a credit card or prying tool, and you can easily reach it from there. I got surprised when I pulled it out, only 3 mm! But it's actually quite good, it's the location that makes it bad. Works better already only by pulling it out of the chassis.

I purchased SD625 64GB LTE CCC unit from MEKEDE in Aliexpress.
Since I was received the unit, my unit does not detect any sim cards.
(Initially I thought it is compatibility problem among sim cards, so I tried few sim cards from several countries but still no luck...)

I also checked android logcat via adb but it seems sim status check is once in the boot sequence and it says absent:
11-30 00:00:22.919 5372 5372 I Finsky : [2] SimStateReceiver.a(6): android.intent.action.SIM_STATE_CHANGED : simState = ABSENT

I guess my unit has hardware fatality or baseband firmware problem..
Anyone having same symptom?

Try to insert the SIM card in different ways. It took me a few times to find the right way. Maybe this video helps you:

OMG, it actually works!!! (I insert my sim in 'reverse' way that like showing in the video..)

I thought the workaround is exception for my unit...
(because my unit is in-dash type like E9x CCC/CIC)
but it is same for this type unit too.

Tried today. Not work...
1. I update the android ( it s same version) not am update

3. I checked the wires... They are connected ok, i think if it was a pb from a wire or connector, the problem was in all APps, also in stand-by mode..
4. I ve search on the web an update for the mcu, but not succes, mine is: 01204bJLY-NBT-HW7-190628(B1290_170325)

"NO SIGNAL" iis often linked to cables and rarely to software / firmware...

and your problem only comes when you try to connect either to the GPS or to the vehicle camera?

Hello, i have one question about a phone charging with the Head unit USB ports.... Anyone use this to charge our phones? the charging power
Is so low and slow, is possible to change or modify it to up the power at 2.1A?

I think adding out power to usb with a AC 5V 2.1A but don't touching the data cables?

Video with gps test... But same problem when i run waze or sygic after 5 minutes it gives me "no signal" and only thing i can do to acces the android menu is to turn off the car for 5mins and turn on again.. In this time if i press radio or menu, the car unit it works and it gives me image on the screen, if i press "navi" is no signal untill i turn off&on...

it is indeed very curious as a defect, I can not find an explanation here. Try downloading a FIX GPS application from the google Play store and see how your unit reacted (that was the goal of my first message) Maybe you should update your unit, you will find in this thread what to do.
