I think the pre-lci tails look just as good as far as parking lights go, but the halogen brake lights and turn signals make the car look cheap and dated in my opinion, I think what I'm going to end up doing is throwing the OEM taillights up on marketplace and see if anyone wants to trade me DEPO taillights mostly because those come pre wired and I prefer the orange Euro style turn signals over the red.
Absolutely & agreed, it won't be for everyone. The parking lights are gorgeous on pre-lci. What killed it for me was the hue of pink from the brake light + turn signal, just looked so tacky and cheap. You might be able to get a few bucks back from the OEM ones but they're a tough sell since most just upgrade to the DEPO's anyway. But yeah the pre-wired will save you a lot of headache and will save you from splicing and tapping into wirings.

Does anyone know if the LCI taillights (OEM or Other brand) retain the rear fog light function? I have that coded in my pre-lci taillights.

There is a rear fog light, one on each side, requires coding to activate since BMW decided to leave it off by default

I never knew, but it looks like it's preserved with the LCI and Depos.
