I've seen a lot of back and forth about this guy but I don't know any details. When I started looking for a new engine for my car I came across him but definitely found some online chatter with a somewhat bad reputation from some people that have bought engines from him. Maybe its justified and maybe not but I didn't want to put that much cash on the line.

Although they do have some good reviews, I've also seen too many bad ones for my comfort. Here are a couple of threads discussing some of the issues.

Read his reviews on Yelp and BBB and save ya crypto for a decent engine builder (most of his google and facebook reviews are fake/bought).

Yeah avoid that. Even the car that hit the 8s pass had issues and had to have their engine rebuilt again. All the top B58s are P2uned built as far as I'm aware.

I wish he would create a vendor account here and respond to the allegations. I would like to hear the other side of the story.

There are some serious allegations, without taking sides, since im not familiar with the issues, im just hoping it gets straightened out.

Like I said, the B58s that were built by him are not running his engines anymore, including the fastest Supra that they claim is running a G1000 kit. You can look at the TX2K coverage from last year and see when she blew her engine. So nothing else really needs to be explained.

I'm curious about his car burning down as well. I was under the impression it had something to do with the meth kit recently installed. Meth is very flammable. I was wondering if there was a problem with the install?

Honest question… at what point or modification level (past stock) is it a good idea to carry an extinguisher?

Assuming certain modification are more likely than others to cause a fire situation.

If you are running methanol or nitrous, probably all the time due to the higher flammability risk. Also a good idea if you track the car.

Your best bet is a local engine builder that has built several different BMW engines, Miami engines, or P2uned as Kern mentioned.
