So I went to double check my insurance claim from Dec 2019 as I was caught in a flash flood in NMB (North Miami Beach) and at that time I had 77,893 miles. I was looking through the paperwork and they reused my 02 sensors but replaced the following:
Turbo Coolant flush (changed out coolant twice since) Spark plugs (I’ve changed them twice since) Brake fluid (originally I said it was original) Oil pan gasket (recently had the OFHG replaced) A/C system flushed (not sure if that’s the proper term) They replaced my n20 with another but it had 89.5k miles from the donor vehicle. So as of now the body has 200k and the engine has 212k. As my insurance company didn’t supply the VIN from the donor vehicle, I’m thinking about reaching out to the supplier to see if they can provide the VIN to see if my used N20 is either pre/post March 2015. If it’s pre, I’m surprised my TC/tensioner/guides have lasted this long unless the prior owner had it changed already with the updated parts. Post, I’m clear though as I’ve mentioned before I purchased an aftermarket warranty so let’s see. |
