Well hello from your north Scandinavian neighbour
How do you measure the distances or better asked - where from? 20-23 cm make no sense as a value - too low to be from the ground, too high to be from the rim highest point...?

Still not sure how you measure, but of course it is the delta I am/was most interested in. 2,5cm is exactly what ACS advised me when I asked them.

I've been fighting issues with my right front axle since lowering my xDrive, I've been trying to determine why I blew out my inner CV joint on 3 axles in the last year. The last one was definitely due to the support bearing bracket breaking, it could be the cause of all of them failing after lowering due to my destroying my right front corner a couple of years ago, it may have been cracked since then allowing flex at the axle support bearing.
Anyway, if anybody is interested I'd like to compare the height of my car lowered to others to see where mine falls, I'm sure others are lower. If anyone lowered with an xDrive wouldn't mind, and has an opportunity, could you measure the height of the front diff from the ground and the height of the center of your front wheel hub as well. It's cold here so I have to wait a bit to measure mine until the snow melts lol. This is the thread I created for this issue if you're interested https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1514736

My goodness, how did you come up with that ☺️
So not even to the center of the axle? Will check mine to compare. Thanks

Top of the arch is a fixed spot. Top of the axle is a fixed spot. So delta between those points gives difference before and after. Just as good as center of axle would do.

That's right. Just curious if the starting point is the same as well.

A little lower than mine. And mine should have been a little lower in the front at least....

No worries no deal-breaker!
You have been extremely helpful already with your shared experience and recommendation! Just to confirm again - the car does not get unpractically low, right (speed bumps, bad roads, etc.)? Just remembering that the Xdrive is supposed to be 15mm higher than RWD if not mistaken ... meaning with the springs it is becoming about 10mm lower...

But coming from a lowered E91 on Bilstein B16 IRC coilovers, everything is a bit high.... As mentioned before it's much better looking than stock and still usable as a daily. But I am considering some coil overs when the current setup is worn out.

Hi all, new to the forum!
I have the F33 435d xDrive (with Adaptive Suspension) and am looking to get some Eibach Lowering Springs (25/20mm). I've been informed that the Gran Coupe (F36) shares the same springs as the Convertible (F33) - however, with the difference in weight is this really the case? |

Just ordered some ACS, hopefully it all works out, my main concern is it being level, regarding drop height anything from 20-30mm will work for me.

Going with Dinan springs + bumpstops and Koni Sport yellows. The Eibach with the stock dampers was too bouncy in the end. |
