I already posted this photo before on another thread, but thought I should also put it up here (hey, I am excited). It arrived today at the dealer and I should be picking it up on Friday morning. It is a 430i Carbon Blue.

Yeah, about that..... I unfortunately picked the black sensatec to keep cost down and not go over budget. Taxes down here are stupidly high, about 30% for new cars. They seemed good enough quality, but sure will miss the leather smell like in my e60. Also I went with the fineline anthracite wood trim.

2018 440xi coupe finally delivered

Today was car delivery day, woot! I'm told I was the first 440xi coupe in the Pacific Northwest. On my first drive, I can feel a solid difference in steering and performance compared to my 2014 435xi. Even better, the M Power and Sound Kit along with all the carbon interior and exterior options sets this car on a whole new level. If you're thinking of getting a 4-series, you won't regret it.
I'll post better pictures and a video of the exhaust note soon.

Fabulous. Congrats. More pics please. I'm especially interested in whether this car rides higher with the MSport and Track Packs than a similarly equipped RWD car.

Was the MPPSK port- or dealer-installed?

My last ride was 435xi without track pack...so, I can't compare. Plus, I went from 18" to 19".

I was actually surprised by the decal and still unclear about it. I didn't request it and it is normally only included with the M Performance appearance package (Front and Rear Spoilers). Perhaps it came with my carbon spoiler. I also wasn't sure if I would get the little 'M' emblem above the vent like the European equivalent, but, that didn't pan out. I actually like the emblem better and may swap them out.

Also forgot to mention that MPPSK was port installed...That said, I had to get BMW Genius to help with that (and exterior carbon options) as the system wasn't set up for 2018 parts when I ordered on March 1st. Those Genius folks are very helpful.

Actually those decals come with the mppsk kit, the separate decal is the black stripe which fills the whole rocker.

I believe the dealer can call the port and ask them not to put them on as part of the mppsk work order

Also glad genius was able to get the port installed options straitened out for you!

Question: is the spoiler Carbon fiber or matte black? And was it port installed?

Thanks! The Spoiler and Exhaust tips are noted on the car's window pricing in the images I posted.
Interior pieces were dealer installed and include:
- M Performance Carbon/Alcantara package (front dash (two pieces), door handles and center console (the piece where your idrive controls are).
- Center console piece (the trim around the shifter

There is also a shifter piece, but, I didn't like that as much. Installed both pieces came to ~$1400 which includes a CCA member discount.

Thank you! That is an M Performance dash kit, see my other response on the interior pieces that I posted just a few seconds ago. They have these parts listed on bmw.com. Just search for M Performance in their search bar.

I noticed you don't have fog lights on your 2018. The BMW USA site shows fog-lights on the 2018 models with M-Sport. Does anyone know if they are supposed to have fog-lights?

On your window sticker it mentions LED fog lights as well.

No fogs on track pack cars, removed for additional cooling

Did anyone place orders in April? My dealer just told me he got no allocations this month. He said that it could be due to dwindling production to start adding the Digital Dash to NA cars. The delay is disappointing but I don't mind waiting if that's the case.
