First post! I've been reading a lot about coding my 14 328i M Sport with the EBT option, looks fairly easy. Hopefully i can PM in an hour and shawnsheridan can help me out! Thanks in advance to everyone who contributes here, i hope i can do the same soon.

I looking after the software psdzata for update the bluetooth in mig bmw f31 .

I have heard that @ shawnsheridan could fix that software.

I just purchased a 2017 340 I, and looking in the trunk it appears that it did not come with a combox installed. The car came with the technology & navigation package installed and I was wondering via coding can I enable the enhanced bluetooth option to allow my incoming text messages be displayed on the center display? From my understanding BMW removed this feature out of the technology package starting some time in 2015. Since I do not have a combox, I do not have office, which is where I would look as to enable this function from my understanding.

Your car has Combox Functions integrated in NBT2 Head Unit. It is fully capable of EBT.

That’s great news for me at least. I have been looking for the required files and software interface and it seems that I can purchase it from BMW____.com or can I obtain it somewhere else? I did just construct the cable the ENET cable so I am interested in moving forward.

dumb question but I'm not seeing anything in my searches: for some reason I was under the impression that I also needed to have internet connection when connecting my car to the computer via the esys OBD2 cable. is this not true? i can just get into my car, connect my computer to car and then load up esys program and code?
