EWG vs PWG

So is it model year 2014 n55s have EWGs or is it the ones constructed it 2014. My f32 was made it 2013 but is a 2014 model year

Roughly from cars built from July 2013 on, so yours should be an EWG.

Mine is a model yr 2014 but build date of October 2013 and is EWG.

Basically if its a 2014 model its an EWG car on the 335/435

I have seen a couple exceptions to this but the above is a good general rule.. And as noted above JULY is the transition month into the new models. (year over year change)

Apparently EU/UK does not go by the same year designation as USA (for most purposes it’s based closer to Julian Calendar and actually on plate issuance in UK. As thus, important to see where poster is located when looking at this.

Also, BMW rolls out changes during the year as needed.

For example, NBT and EWG were installed in F3x (with one exception) in July 2013.

However, Climate Control IHKA3 was rolled in early 2014 calendar year.

As noted above, there are always exception to a hard date as well (in other words early July builds might have had either depending on Factory and Supply Inventory.

Its 07/13 but we recommend a visual check for cars between 06/13 and 08/13

All F32 are EWG by the way
