I'm looking to change out the bulbs on the interior of my car. This includes stuff like the footwell, courtesy, vanity mirror, dome, and map lights. I want to change them because I find the stock ones a bit yellow and dull. After browsing the internet, it looks like there are two options.

The first one is to buy a package that contains all the bulbs needed. I assume the bulbs will fit in the stock housing for the stock bulbs.

The second option is to buy a separate new housing with the LEDs in them. I assume these would be brighter because it looks like the housing is different and it contains more LEDs

The second option turns out to be a lot more expensive and no option to change the dome/map lights. Has anyone had any experience installing either of these?

If you have a US car, you will actually have to swap out the diode to get a different color as all US cars have the interior lighting package. If you live outside of the US and your car doesn't have the interior LED lightning from factory, you will be able to change them out.
