Polyurethane Engine / trans Mounts (NVH Issues?)

Hello all 👋
I’m considering polyurethaning my mounts.. which one of these would be okay or a better yet a better question, which of these can I get away with making polyurethane or a solid with the least amount of NVH ? This is a experimental topic I’m sure and is not for everyone. Has anyone ever done engine mounts with a solid or specialty mount or poly? For street car (not race car) I’ve had other car brands and there respective communities sometimes had these odd projects and custom stuff but I don’t really see much info about these things for bimmers. I thought I’d start it up! 😉

Any positive insight is greatly appreciated 🙏

I did it on my E92 many moons ago. Worked totally fine, definitely made things a lot more rigid but Oem feeling for sure.

That is the transmission/ transfer case mount you’re thinking about doing as well ? I was kinda thinking about doing the same thing actually.

I did the same, way back. I used 3M window weld to fill in the voids. It was definitely cheaper than poly mounts and worked decently well.

I then went solid mounts, cause racecar.
