Paragon makes great track brake calipers and rotors. They also make full floating rotors to fit BMW Front 370mm and 340mm, and also 2-piece to fit Rear 345mm in both 160mm and 185mm emergency brakes. Paragon replacement rotor rings are much more reasonably priced than others. Paragon rotors come slotted as standard because they are oriented to track customers. But for a cheap $50 fee, they can custom make any configuration. I highly recommend full crossdrilled for street cars which is what BMW installs on M3/M4 and so do Porsche, Mercedes, McLaren etc on their street performance cars. The reason that there aren’t stock sized Rear 345mm full floating rotors is because BMW utilizes a rear emergency brake that is machined inside the rotor hat. Paragon comes the closest with a lightweight 2-piece rear rotor that has the same replaceable rotor ring. Both they have to use a steel insert inside the rotor hat to accommodate the emergency brake. So it appears to be full floating but the hat and the rotor ring are actually bolted to each other. Great design and allows matching of front and rear rotor surface configurations. https://paragonbrakes.com/bmw/m-perf...e-m-sport-fxx/ |

The only difference between 2NH and SPBR coding on my car were the "tandem brake cylinder" values. SPBR left the value unchanged from stock, while 2NH had different values. This seems to imply that the 2NH cars ship with a different master cylinder, but I can't find any evidence to back that up. Realoem literally only shows one master cylinder for all 335i's, no matter what options they have. So I have no idea what that's about... You have to figure the engineers must have made this distinction for something??

Because the MPBBK can be put on any F chassis car. This means there needs to be a single way to code this retrofit that works for all F chassis thats independent of the hardware flavors. So its possible that 2NH would be fine on a 335, but not on different chassis. |

This would potentially confirm my suspicion then- as you can certainly buy the MPBBK on a 320i and would need compatible coding / install instructions that bridge 320i and 328i/335i.

I haven’t seen anyone on this forum review the brake kit so interested in any feedback. The current August 2024 prices for a MBBK and Paragon front BBK are comparable, though you miss out on any rear caliper upgrade with Paragon, so not quite apples to apples. |

I would order them from Paragon in full crossdrilled with anti-rust coating for a street car. There are M2 F87 guys using Paragon. Much more cost effective for tracking than AP Racing brakes. See photo of a friend’s rear Paragon brakes for his M2 daily/track car. |

Thanks. Super helpful. Leaning toward the Paragon front BBK and just replacing OEM rotor and pads in the back. Will probably look awkward because I’ll probably just have blanks in the back but not overly concerned with looks. I still need to double check fitment. I have Apex ARC-8, 18x18.5 ET 38 and the rep thinks it should fit but said to go through the fitment guide.
