Thrust arm bushings

Service tech pointed out that they are starting to crack. 67k miles on a 2015 car that has lived in the desert its whole life. Does this seem normal?

There's no clunking or odd tire wear, so how much life do you think they still have?

It's not unusual. Heat is the enemy of anything made of rubber. At 67K miles, how are the shocks?

Front and rear feel OK. The car has spent much of its life on the freeway or flat, straight surface streets. Except when I go around the local roundabouts, the shocks have an easy life. I'm also big on driving with anticipation and not hammering the brakes, though it's not an easy task with the way many drive here.

Mine were both leaking at 60k miles. I replaced them with new thrust arms with Meyle HD bushings installed. No increase in NVH, actualy seems more comfortable because excess movement is reduced. Car also tracks better and isn't affected by heavy winds in inclement weather anymore.

2018 Audi RS5  [0.00]
i got the black poweflex bushings
drives great but def more NVH than stock
wish i had gotten the purple ones
they are the softer ones
black is the firmer one

i liked the idea of the Meyle HD, but preferred staying with the OEM thrust arm, not sure about the quality of the Meyle one.
not sure you can get just the HD bushings?

I managed to get stock control arms with the correct angles for xDrive with the Meyle bushings pressed in. $89 per arm from bimmerworld.
