Endless WGDC issues
So i'm beside myself on what to do next.
Tuner has stated that I have WGDC issues and that I am not achieving "target boost". Take the car in and perform the following: 1. Check codes: no codes for boost leak or any other issue 2. Check WG operation: no sign of abnormal operation, wear, damage, etc 3. Replace boost solenoid: Done 4. Perform Vacuum test: Done - no issues 5. Perform Smoke test: Done - no issues 6. Perform soapy water test: Done - no issues 7. Test drive: no issues I dont know what else I can do other than replace the turbo. Is there such as "wastegate replacement" or "wastegate repair" Apologies, not super technical 2013 F30 N55 xdrive PWG, WMI, PS2, Spool 2.5 HPFP, ERW 2.0 LPFP, all other supporting mods |

Thanks for this.
The only thing throwing me off a bit is that I'm being told there are no issues with my wastegate. Does the heavier duty wg just better at holding pressure especially for bigger boost applications? |

Change your valve cover. Sounds strange but your vacuum reservoir is part of the valve cover and mine cracked internally so you wouldn’t have seen smoke on a smoke test. Also check the hose from the vacuum pump as mine was cracked on our PWG N55. Both made it so insufficient vacuum was reaching the wastegate. Once fixed power was back.
