Help with lowering my xdrive

Hi guys! I'm new here! I have f30 328i xdrive, msport, and I want to lower it, but to keep my ride as smooth as possible, because roads here in Serbia are not too kind. It's so confusing to me, is it safe to lower xdrive or what, and what coilovers do you suggest? Thanks in advance!

Here it is on 19" 235/35 square

your car looks lowered already. oem tire diameters are 26". 235/35/19 is 25.5". it's smaller diameter would normally increase wheel gap much more than is depicted on yours. in the future, consider 235/40/19(26.4") as they will provide better ride and impact protection and it's slightly larger than OEM diameter will reduce wheel gap, thus reducing the amount of lowering required for small wheel gaps.

due to stress on front axles, it is not recommended to lower the front more than 40mm.

although non-adjustable, i would do eibach pro-kit springs over bilstein b4 (m-technik) struts/shocks. if you are set on coilovers, KW V1 set to close to the upper limit of lowering.

What's your take on the Bilstein B14 in comparison to the KW V1?

Was originally set on KW V1 or V2, but majority I've spoken to say Bilstein is better quality product and to go B14 or B16?

Failures and leaks were said to be more common on KW and at the higher price point I'm confused as to which direction to go.

Daily driver that will be on 235/40/19 & 265/35/19 437M wheels with 2 or 3 track events a yr...

Also worth mentioning that the ST XA coilovers (Budget V2s) from KW are the same money as the B14s originally mentioned

If you want a quite strong lowering, I recommend eibach pro kit -40 springs from the RWD version, they fit the xdrive, the ride is pleasant.

Bilstein B14/16=firmest/roughest due to high gas pressure and spring rate

KW V1=better ride than bilstein coils

KW comfort, still better but more $

Eibach Pro Kit springs+Bilstein B4 M-technik. Although non height adjustable, lowering = OEM+ with reverse rake fixed. Best ride with sporty handling. Still my recommendation.

Thank you sir

With the KW V1s being about $2500CAD, V2s upwards of $3k and the ST XA's being $1600CAD, if the adjustable parameters are worth it I'd just ceramic coat the galvanized option for some added corrosion resistance.

I was leaning more towards coils as some curbs and parking garages are rough here and will be running a lip with the combo so adjustments would be nice
