Has anyone got a link for a free ISTA download? Need to get it on my laptop to do a few jobs and diag

A 'reliable' source can be tricky to find.

I just paid for my copy via SatNavUpgrades.co.uk for 25 quid for an easier life.

It just installed and worked straight away. Some of the free sources lack the all important installer package, meaning you have to cobble all the separate components together yourself.

Be warned though - technically it's a slow arsed clunky piece of crap, but once you get used to it, it's extremely powerful and useful.

For simple day to day checks and basic coding, I would use Bimmerlink and Bimmercode.

You basically end up with a message telling you to use some other software tbh

Couldn't someone with the link just make a torrent of it or something similar? It's not like whoever Shawn is is losing out on that £8.50 and if he's just linking to Mega then presumably the software is not entirely on the level and shouldn't actually be available for free?

What size of files is being talked about here?

There is another thread here with torrent links, ive downloaded them all but havent tested them. They are almost 130G per version. These links wont be avail. forever, he has shared them via Google Drive and in my experiance Google has a habit of deleting sketchy stuff from their servers.
People are still requesting the links even after I said they download fine, Ive read you should dedicate a laptop to this software alone so I havent tested it.

Looking for the link to download ISTA, trying to see how far out of spec my wastegate is. Hoping i can fix the issue without having to replace any parts.

I am getting code:
120408 - charging pressure control : switch -off as consequential reaction
123401 - electrical wastegate valve , adaptation: cold start not learned.
123422 - electrical wastegate valve , adaptation : start position closed not detected.

I installed a bigger turbo & took off the wastegate completely.

I need guidance so to calibrate so I can start tuning. Thank you !
