Recently my car a 2013 f30 335d x drive (m sport model) developed what I think is a warped disc.

I've recently had my local garage investigate this and confirm it for both front discs, they also mentioned the pads were low all round so best to change these out at the same time. So I thought I'd take the opportunity to upgrade the discs all round to some drilled & grooved.
I purchased these myself and the size going off the reg number were 370mm for the fronts and 345mm for the rears.

My garage are now telling me that the rears are wrong, they are saying the discs ive got are too big being 345mm at the rear. Is it possible that a reg check for parts can be wrong and mine has the smaller discs? I shopped around and this seemed to be the size listing for my car everywhere. I even called my local motor factors and they are saying that on their system my car has the larger type discs. I'm really confused

Can anyone offer advice please?

Do you have the Bosch or Brembo rear caliper? If you have the Bosch caliper it won't be the 345mm rotor.

Thanks dude. I managed to have a conversation with my mechanic about this. Apparently my car has the 340mm and 330mm rears. Its a weird one as every part catalogue when inputting my cars details show the 370mm front and 345mm rears. As my mechanic pointed out, its weird that someone would go for every optional extra given my cars spec (heated steering wheel, moon roof, hud etc) then get the inferior brake setup, lesson learned I guess that you cant trust simply going off your registration or vin number to order parts online, always chance of a margin of error.

I don't know if the NA spec cars are different but in the UK the big brakes come with 19" wheels; I could see why someone would value 18" wheels over bigger brakes if their local roads are badly maintained. And if they don't hoon it then the standard brake setup is perfectly adequate.
