Got the same issue on my F33 430D.
Upon investigation, there appears to be a a little clip/Holder underneath the bonnet catch that the air intake pipe is suspended from. After looking at mine and noticing it wobbles and vibrates like crazy, i had a look through some drawings of the intake and it appears there is meant to be a little rubber gromit or such inserted into this holder which lifts the pipe into the correct position and stops the rattle. The bushing is £2 from bmw. £10 on ebay. I'm yet to install and see if this does solve the problem but Im sure it will. Just involves removing the crash bars and bonnet latches to be able to pull apart the intake and push the bush in the holder. |

Pop up a picture of where you mean when you get a chance, but good info.
That rattling stopped on mine after wrapping some felt around the portion of ducting that attaches to the grille. The factory felt rubs off over time. |
