Lol, what a load of crap, besides being a 9 year old thread. Google side view pics of E36 vs F30 and tell us again the F30's front bumper has massive overhang

Yeah bro that one is so crazy that if you stand on the nose the rear wheels will be up in the air. I think the coupster is even worse... They even needed fake shark gills to break the miles long surface.

Not gullible at all. As it doesn’t bother me in the slightest. There are much more important things to get worked up about.

That was aimed at you. BishBosh is fine gentleman.
What about the overhang? You've heard of crumple zone legislation yeah? You can't have no overhang anymore. It's all lightweight plastic anyway so what's the big deal? The bulk of the weight is behind the axle line, which is all anyone gives a shit about dynamically. |

Instead of hating on me you should just buy a Peugeot if you like front overhangs.

I had some time on my hands so I googled the dimensions, the e46 coupe was 756mm from the front to the front axle and the f30 is 776mm most likely as Turboweasel said due to crash legislation.

Respect bro that's some good googlin'. Just as I said. Massive front overhang. The E46 has an old school bumper so it looks a lot lighter on the front side because the hood doesn't stretch all the wayyy to the foremost bumper tip. With the F30 the bumper is fully integrated in the body work so it looks like one massive heavy block in front of the axle. |
