I use BimmerCode with Android but would like to have BimmerLink for clearing error codes and such but BimmerLink isn't available for Android. Are there any recommendations for an Android app ?

FA coding is VO coding. You only need a token for FDL coding.

so below is a quote from someone else who did it: Coding... In short, I added code 544 to the Vehicle Order (VO, or in German FA). Using the above mentioned guide again, Page 28 onwards, I fired up eSys, selected my car (F020, which is a F20 1 series) and followed the guide. All was crystal clear in the process right up to the coding of individual ECU's - that's where it became 'open to interpretation', but I used the information from the cruise control retrofit guide to code the following ECU's: - FEM (body) - ICM - BCKOMBI (the instruments, sometimes just called Kombi, but it was labelled BCKOMBI in my car) so i added the 544 now but he is still talking about coding the ECU in FEB ICM and Kombi for that i need token or? |

Adding Option Code to FA by itself does nothing. You must then VO COde the affected ECU(s).

Actually you sent me VM (Visitor Message) rather than PM (Private Message), and I did not see it until now as Forum does not email me on new VM's like it does on new PM's. But, I'll ignore now.

What Head Unit do you have? After changing 6NH to 6NS, what ECU(s) did you VO Code?

so i remember last one i had to add 544 this time i changed 6nh to 6ns but on the other forum you said after that i have to: Right-Click on Head Unit ECU (e.g. HU_NBT, HU_CIC, HU_CHAMP, HU_ENTRY, HU_ENTRYNAV, etc.) (the ECU itself not the underlying CAFD) => Select CODE (Not Code FDL). but im not seeing the head unit ecu also not seeing hu nbt i only have HU_ENTRY |
