P2010 - oil level inactive and IMRC voltage too High!
Description of Code:
Powertrain control module (PCM) has detected an intake manifold runner control (IMRC) actuator circuit voltage (for engine bank one) that is greater than expected. Symptoms: 1) Alert for Service check only in MMI, and only when you scroll into Vehicle Check i.e. no engine check light is on 2) Engine oil level check is inactive within the MMI - will not come on unless Code is cleared 3) Engine oil check shows engine oil needed (Engine part is turned Red in MMI) and shows engine oil needed since last 3000miles (not possible!) 4) OBD diagnostics shows ECU receiving voltage of around 15V. I know normal should be around 14-14.7 but I've also been told in cold temperatures (below freezing in CT) can see temps at 15V 5) Oil droplets seen sometimes below car, at front. Looking at oil cooler/filter housing and around it + belts + front shows no signs of leak. Super confused guys, would really appreciate some help!!! |
