Sidewall damage

Found this on my front passenger tire wondering if I can replace just this tire or will I have to replace all because the rest of them are fine. Car is AWD

I don’t know as much about xdrive, but I’ve had that happen on Subaru’s I’ve had, which are fairly picky about tires being close in size, and I had to order a tire that was shaved down to match the others, didn’t cost too much and was cheaper than replacing all the tires, especially since the others were in good shape. I’d check some of your more popular tire distributors in Canada and see which ones do shaving, I think it was Tire Rack that offers a shaving service in the US at least. I’d wait for someone who knows more about xdrive and see if that’s necessary first though

DOT code shows manufactured in 2019. Based on this and the shoulder wear in the pics, I would get a new set of 4 and try to sell the 3 old tires.

That tyre looks like the rubber started to have aging crackings. I also suggest replacing them all.

I think you should replace all 4 as well with the AWD system and the age of the tires. Strange how it just split so that would concern me about the others. I know it's easy to say when it's not my dollars but as the others have said there are a few variables to consider.
