Cushion
Any suggestion on a cushion/comfort solution/padding for the area where the thigh hits the console.

I use a piece of foam pipe insulation for this very problem in my firms van, the side of my knee used to get sore.
It looks rubbish, but it is a work vehicle so it doesn't matter. I've no idea how you can make it look nice in your beemer.....

I can't recommend any cushions, but have you considered getting a microfibre cloth...??

Here you go :https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/10050...yAdapt=glo2bra
Or just buy an M4 as the thigh pad is a standard fit. K |

Have a look at the centre console off an M- car. I know the F series had padding for the knee area, fitted one to my F series, as I managed to get a recycled one. Dare say brand new would be an arm and a leg.

You can get these OEM ones which fit a selection of the G series but doubt they would fit a GO7.( I'll edit that after a better look...they definately will not)
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Genui...EaAkL3EALw_wcB Maybe check with the dealer and see if they actually do them for your car otherwise you may end up with a stick on pad and while cheap, will do nothing for the look of your expensive machine If BMW don't do them have you thought of going to a car trimmer who could likely make you something that would look like its supposed to be there?? Bit like these... same as in link above but better pics. https://www.motechperformanceshop.co...uMNTdWZTum2e0n Last edited by Alscoob; 10-23-2024 at 04:10 AM.. I thought I was the only one that had that problem!
I tried a small keyboard wrist rest velcroed to the console but it looked naff, so I just repositioned my leg and used the, erm, dead pedal instead, lol. |
