Ugh. How bad is this? Took off at a green light in first, not WOT but a pretty decent clip and got a CEL with drivetrain malfunction. DME says

DME active codes -
140001 - Combustion misfires, several cylinders: Fuel injection is switched off.
140010 - Combustion misfires, several cylinders: detected.
140201 - Combustion misfire, cylinder 2: Fuel injection is switched off.
140210 - Combustion misfire, cylinder 2: detected.

- DME shadow (inactive) codes -
140011 - Misfire: Fuel injection deactivation.
231501 - Fault entry: Send buffer full.

Something tells me I am doomed.

Problem apparently/hopefully solved.

140210 looks to have been the cause the others the effect. Swapped out the coil on #2 and everything went away. Still waiting on all systems to ready but the motor feels fine now, not stumbling mightily like it was when it happened.

Yeah after reading your first message coil was my first guess... 140210 is absolutely the cause and the others the effect, I've had a few misfires before and the DME usually cuts injection whenever misfires are bad enough to throw codes

It was rather concerning because it happened in second when I was getting on it. I had never experienced that and began to fear the worst. All is well now.

In fact, I went ahead and did fresh coils and plugs this weekend as well as a fresh 2+ tune. Man, it's amazing how hard it pulls and that's not my imagination. The car wants to GO!

Glad to hear it! Mine would miss too under full throttle... swapped in new coils and the problem disappeared.
