245/45/19 Rubbing issue on F32
Aloha everybody, just picked up a used wheel set and having some fitment issues! Purchased from an F30 owner who said it would fit my F32 (428i Gran Coupe rear wheel drive).
Popped the front wheel on last night and there appears to be rubbing inside the wheel well when turning the steering wheel. I do like the look of the wheel, seems to fill out the wheel well better and could use the additional ground clearance. But hoping to sort this rubbing issue out. Not sure which M sport wheels these are, but they are 19 x 8.5 in the front 9.5 in the rear with 245/45/19 all around. I haven't tried fitting the rears yet. Any help would be much appreciated. |

Also, that 9.5" rear will need a 245 tire at least. I would do staggered tires, determine size based on clearance.

Thank you for the info! It looks like the offset is more aggressive than stock F30.
Any idea what tire size would be ideal for the fronts with stock suspension? The rears have 245/45/19 on them, going to try to test fit soon. |

Photos attached. Looks like the rears fit. Won't know for sure until driving around going over bumps and what not. Fronts poke out a bit, not sure what size would clear.

Like aloha said, 235/40/19 is the safe size for the front. If you want to change the rears too, I would go for 275/35/19. Like this: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...3&postcount=35
You can also use 265/35/19 on the rear: https://www.flickr.com/photos/apexraceparts/23706239099 |
