2017 430iX - new tires needed after 11 months / 13K miles
Hi all!
I am sure there are several posts on the lifespan of BMW OEM run flats but I am too lazy to search ) I had dealer install new OEM run flats on my car in January 2023. 13K miles and 21 months later...wear is down to 2mm / 1mm on front and rear. I think I screwed up and didn't have tires rotated at all last year (I usually do it every oil change and paying the price now. Just curious is this kind of lifespan of run flats trending to needing replaced every 13-15K miles? My car is also convertible w/hardtop retractable roof so heavier car and all city driving. I've never had runflats make it to 20k, no matter what bmw i have.
so when i got my 2018 430 hardtop convertible, i just replaced them immediately with goflats and sold the runflats. the runflats i had on my x2 made it to 18k miles. i'm on goflats now. |
Appreciate
