Yes, on the e90 it was 19x9 with same width tires, 255/30/19.
BMW kind of did the same with the F10, widest is 9" in the rear with 275 tires both on 18", 19" and 20", but on the e60 it was 9.5" in the rear wiht 19".

It may be worth noting the M Sport Package OEM wheels since I don't see an 18" staggered config listed yet...

Great collection of OEM sizes! Interesting that BMW staggers the wheels by a mere .5" but staggers tire size by more than 1"!

Probably worth mentioning that the wheel lugs are different in comparison to the E9x. F30 uses a 14X 1.25mm thread pattern.

offsets and width aside, that shouldn't affect e90 spec rims fitting an f30 should it?

Wheels will fit fine. Spacers, or more specifically their extended length lugs, won't fit.

Brake n Rim Size
Just recently bought 2012 F30 Sportline just 2 months ago, also I just joined this site.
Can the M sport upgrades as per brake or brembo work on my series... also if I run Stagged - 18x8" ET34 225/45-18 front / 18x8.5" ET47 255/40-18 Rear Will it touch as I plan to run coilovers pretty soon Just wanting someone to direct me where I can source all my aftermarket parts. Thanks. |

so I was using the wheel/tire size calculator over on e90post.com because for whatever reason there isn't one here yet. but here's some interesting information
stock base wheels: 17x7.5 et37 ZSL/ZML/ZLL wheels: 18x8 et34 ZSL/ZML/ZLL 19" or all ZMM staggered set ups: 18x8 et34 or 19x8 et36 front and 18/19x8.5 et47 rear Going from the standard 17s to the 18s pushes out the wheels at all four corners by 9mm Going from the standard 17s to the 18 staggered set up pushes out the front wheels by 9mm but the REAR BY ONLY 3mm!!! Going to the 19 staggered set up pushes out the front by 7mm and the REAR BY ONLY 3mm!!! interesting stuff. given this I am really starting to think that a 235/50 17 or 235/45 18 square setup is best. Maybe 245 but the tire sizes will be a bit shorter. Yea the 235 is taller, but it should fill up the wheel wells better.

BMW X5 wheels on F30
First off let me apologize if this post is in the wrong place. I am new to posting on forums. I would like to know if you can mount X5 five spoke wheels on a 2013 328i. Thanks. Ben

I apologize if i'm sabotaging this thread.. but i think it's in line with the topic(wheels). I just purchased an F30 w/ xDrive Luxury line .. are there any special considerations when going to 19" wheels? I heard that xDrive limits wheel size.
Thanks |

I think 245 is about the widest you could go on an 8" wheel, so you could potentially stagger with 245s on the rears. May look a little beefy though. 235 all round might be a better solution.

Great info, subscribed.
I think BMW lowered the width because of EPA standards...the farther out a rim is from the hub, the more drag and less efficient it'll be aerodynamically. Additionally, less wide=less weight.
