On xDrive it's important to keep the difference in front and rear diameter within 0.5% on a staggered setup! But since we discuss a square setup it doesn't matter. To me it just sounds like the dealer trying to sell a new set of winter tires. I checked OEM 16" (205/60-16) and OEM 20" (225/35-20) tires, the difference in overall diameter is above 2%. |

Would like to fit 20" style 361 on my F32 435d xDrive with the M Sport brakes
Front: 8Jx20 ET:36 225/35R20 (vs current 8Jx18 ET:34 225/45R18) Rear: 8.5Jx20 ET:47 255/30R20 (vs current 8.5Jx18 ET:47 255/40R18) Any issues I should look out for e.g. front spacers required / clearance / xDrive issues? bimmerposts wheel offset calculator says the new rears will have “the same clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will extend to the same point as the stock wheel” but the new fronts will have “2mm less clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will retract 2mm” Thanks in advance, Stephen |

I'm thinking to buy another staggered OEM 400M setup and use: - (4) 18x8 all around for 225/45/18 winter tires - (4) 18x8.5 all around for (245 or 255)/x/18 summer tires The stance may look a bit weird, but hopefully some wheel spacers can correct it? |

Looking for 18" winter rims for a 335i Msport.
Found a nice set of used M3 rims that measure as follows: Front Wheels: 18" x 8" -- Bolt Pattern = 5x120mm. Offset = ET47 Rear Wheels: 18" x 9" -- Bolt Pattern = 5x120mm. Offset = ET26 Does anyone have a quick idea if these would fit, and what the best tire size would be? Thanks. |
