Is the brown leather going to be available in the M-sport 4, because it ISN'T in the M-Sport 3.

Yeah... the re-badging to me sounds like an opportunity to increase the price. Wonder by how much though...

Such a beautiful classic BMW design. Beautiful lines. Nice interior (the wood looks awful but ok). Awesome angry front. And a rear designed by the same blind goat as always. Sigh.

Love it! A nice evolution of the e92 while moving the design forward. Where the F30 looks like a (handsome) mix of e46 and e90, this does a great job of standing apart as a new model. Interestingly, details like the extended rear quarter glass and fast drop from the C-pillar that make the GT look SOOO bad work beautifully here. To me, the fact that the reactions here on the forum are so polarized means that BMW have hit the mark. It's a design that people will be passionate about.
I was all set to get an F30 M-Sport next Spring, but if the production version looks as good as this, I've just found my next new car. Congratulations BMW; great job! |

It looks not too bad especially from the side............but after closer inspection there are some odd bits.
The bumpers I assume will not make it through to the final production car. They seem overly busy and too sculpted. Also the spy shots show traditional round rear exhaust pipes and not the Acura type rectangles. Not sure about the front lights. I will say though the bleeding of the lights into the grill looks better on this version than the sedan. Still cannot get over that straight hood line on all the new BMW's. I know there are pedestrian impact considerations - but Audi, Porsche and even VW handle the hood form much better. Don't get the fake side gill. The new Cayman does a much better job. This one looks painted on. Hood looks like the 5 series Batman hood when viewed from inside the car. I much prefer the current M3 hood with power dome. The cup holders are odd. I can see whacking a big cup of coffee after an aggressive gear change (assuming they offer a MT). I am not a big fan of the current E92 cup holders - but at least the passengers cup is well away from the driver. I cannot believe they still have the hand brake. I would have thought the 5 series button would have been more modern and less space consuming. I do admit I prefer the mechanical brake however on my M3. Interior I am sure will be fine. But this version is gaudy and overly busy. The structural panels suede look and wood grain dash parts are hideous. Hopefully there is a classier novillo version in extended like the current M3. Like the mirrors and door handles and as indicated previously the overall side view and more aggressive stance than the E92 Coupe. I imagine the M4 version will be spot on. |

I am glad that the door handles won't be like the ones in the Concept . I think usual door handles (the ones that are in spy pics) look much better .
If I read correctly the side gill is not fake, it has function. Still I don't like it. From the back the lights look similar to E31 lights. Really nice. Except the door handles, ugly exhaust part and the overly busy bumpers everything else looks amazing. |

Looks much better than I thought it would. I actually kind of like the busy front and rear bumpers, but know they probably won't make it to production. I remember seeing the E92 for the first time and not liking it at all. Obviously it grew on me and ended up with an E92 and now E93M. I like this one from the get go so I may be picking up an M4 in the future.
