deals on new/pre-reg F30?
Anyone seen any wonderdeals? 318d or 320d msport ideally.
Looking at a new/pre-ref F30 for the wife, its only to ferry the kids about so don't need to be all singing and dancing, Seeing £349 deposit, £349 a month and 0% but for a cars that's coming to end of life there must be better than that. |

Depends what discount you get on the car. Don’t see how you can get better than 0%. But if you squeeze a good discount then you may be able to get the monthly down a bit.
What options would you be looking at or what’s the list price if you’ve already specced one up? If it’s just for ferrying the kids around, could it be a petrol? They work better with short trips and they’re cheaper to buy too |

Have you tried the usual websites - coast2coast, drivethedeal, carwow - to see if the discount you have seen is competitive?

Im already getting bored of this process, and only been doing it 4/5hours
can never get a straight answer out of anyone at a dealership. considering I might well buy 2 cars here, you would think they would be a little bit more forthcoming...... Quote:
when I say ferry kids about, we will end up doing 12-15k a year in it easily. done all them this morning as comparison, C2C don't have the 3 series on the website anymore. |

The 0% is only on stock cars too - I think they aren’t taking new orders for the current model anymore. So you may be limited in choice with options you wouldn’t want.

I’ve not looked in greater detail but Easterm have 330d at £1k down and £389pm. If that’s their start point I’m sure you could get a 320 much less. Good luck.

I've got a 320d msport with a few extras including reverse camera at no deposit and 399 a month, but I think there is better out there.
She doesn't see that bothered though, so I'm not really sure why I'm even doing this |

Only one 3 series Touring left at my local, and it's 330d and not 320d.

PCP deals will be slightly up as the final guaranteed price of the car will be much lower considering a new model is on the way. Lower ballon payment, higher monthly, however pretty much the same deal.
However a good marker I go by is 20% off a brand new car or 30%ish off a pre reg. If you buy at the very end of the month and haggle hard I can easily see a 40-50% saving. Some people do not like the confrontation of haggling but I think it's well worth it. At Christmas, the best car deals are looming as not many are in the position to buy a new motor at Christmas. For the 320D, aim for £20,000 to £27,000 depending on spec for a Pre Reg. I wouldn't be paying more than £300 in monthlies for the best spec 320D |

I've seen a couple of pre reg 340i saloons and I do wonder how much can be had off them and would they still do 0%apr. Feels like there could be a hell of a deal there potentially. |

The 340i is a more current car considering the M340i isn't going to be around for a while also. |

I am a bit surprised though, Ive played my hand and bogged off elsewhere where the deals are better but after getting utterly bored of the 335d had decided a run out 340i with some toys would be my next car. But not at current prices. Not even TRL is posting anything vaguely "sensible" |

Eastern in Edinburgh keep posting the same 340 in individual colours at something approaching £600 a month |

at some point - if new 3 series aren't available until eg March next year - then if stocks of the run out model are low enough and BMW are confident enough to sell through, then the prices and offers may start to firm up.
Potentially the best time for a deal would have been when there was more stock available and more pressure to start to clear them? |

Yeah I spoke to Eastern and nothing was particularly forthcoming.
I'd love a 340i, and year end feels like the time to strike, but it has to be a super/mega/ultimate deal for me to justify it, and have multiple attempts at convincing the other half. Last edited by blueislander; 10-24-2018 at 04:58 AM.. |

I got frustrated yesterday being constantly asked about monthlies on a 340i. I tried to explain that monthlies was irrelevant - it's 0% APR, so tell me what the RRP is, and what the discount is. Don't jig things about between deposit and monthly and GMFV, just give me the headline cost of the car and I will decide. He literally couldn't/wouldn't do it. Wanted smoke and mirrors and to bury things in it which annoyed me a lot. |

All you need is list, discount/contribution and GFV, but I assume he was 'hiding' stuff like Supaguard, GAP etc in his figures What's worse is the 340 they're advertising are pre-reg! £2k deposit and £556 a month. |
