Another recall or the old one?
https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/n...over-fire-risk
I'm lost now... is this just widening the one that's been ongoing for some on here already, or have they now decided the issue is more complex and therefore affects all the same cars again and more?

Looks like they are one and the same - the engines and production date ranges affected are the same.

The dates look the same but the amount of cars in the recall is significant more now.. 1.6 million total with 268 thousand of those cars in the UK (it was way under 100 thousand in the UK originally).
Where are they going to get all the parts from? Isn't there already a 2 month wait for a new EGR cooler if needed? Looks like some may be without their car for 6 months soon the way things are going |
