Question about programming 1-8 buttons.

- I have one of my buttons programmed to CarPlay phone mode. I'd really like it to be programmed to the CarPlay main menu (with all the CarPlay icons), but I can't find anywhere to program that. Fastest shortcut I can find is to click Menu, then scroll to left to car play - but it's not programmable to a 1-8 button for some reason. Any other way?

- Also, I'm using 3 buttons to accomplish: toggle split screen; split screen arrow; split screen media description. I think I used to have "split screen toggle/ arrow" as one button in my 328-- so it would bring up arrow mode split screen mode, and toggle off to full screen when pushed again- is that possible in 2017 330i?

My current 8:
1. Bmw Map mode (so i can go to BMW map instead of having to see car play / apple map)
2. Split screen toggle
3. Split arrow mode
4. Split media description
5. Howard stern / xm presets
6. CarPlay phone
7. Favorite locations
8. Navigate home

Wish I had room for one more, to toggle between freeway and no freeway navigation. I like that you can arrange car play icons thru iphone settings

My shortcuts reset to blank literally every day -what gives? 2017 model

Are you using different key fobs / profiles? I think there's also a "guest" profile setting that resets each time

Same key each time and I believe I'm in my own profile but will double check. It doesn't ask each time I start up now actually so I'm not 100% sure - guess will check on the way home!

Hi,
I am having trouble setting satellite radio stations into the 8 memory buttons. Somehow i switched Profiles and it jacked everything up. When i am on a station (such as 80s at 8), i press button 1, hold it down til it beeps. This used to be the way i did it. Now when I go back and press button 1, it brings up the Preset list or the favorites or whatever was highlighted when i tried it save 80s at 8 station. Its driving me NUTS. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing?

I just want it to bring up 80s at 8 and then when i hit button 2, I want it to bring up 90s at 9, etc etc. I don't want a presets list or any kind of list.

Help!!!!!!!!

From what I was told,to clear a single button hold THAT button and the 8 at the same time.

I recently had my car serviced and all of my presets were erased. So, I reset all of them (the head unit even made the confirmation noise as it reset). But when I go to press one of the preset buttons later, nothing happens. Any suggestions? Is there some type of coding that can fix this issue?
