Any 100k+ Mile f30s out there??
I’m currently at 100k on my 13’ f30, only problem has been valve cover leak other than that it’s been perfect! And will the n20 engine be able to put out 175-200k miles?

If driven aggressively, no.

Great thread... glad it has some traction, unlike my previous attempt!
Please post here if you have reached 100k miles and also indicate any note worthy issues that came up. Im at 56k and plan on keeping this car up to 150k at least. Hopefully longer. Eventually, it will become my "beater" when I pick up a pure sports car for fun on the weekends... Until then, I pretty much baby it for the most part. |

It totally depends on how you treat your car. You can drive your car aggressively but you have to make sure to keep a few things in mind:
- Never stress your motor without getting the oil up to temperature. - Be mindful that stock cooling is made for occasional bursts of speed, not constant flogging. - Engines need to stretch their legs once in a while. Not too much, not too little. - If you drive you car hard, you also have to shorten the service intervals. If you don't ignore little problems and get them fixed right away, most modern engines should easily last 150-200k miles. |

Weird, I wrote a reply and submitted but it's not showing up...attempt #2:
I'm at around 95k on my '13 335, had it since around 52k. Walnut blasted at just over 60k under the assumption that the previous owner didn't do it. Replaced my plugs and coils at around 83k, strictly preventative and I went one step colder to go with my tune. Replaced my oil filter housing and oil cooler gaskets at around 88k because the leak had gotten pretty bad and oil had gotten into my coolant, so I did a coolant flush at the same time. Other than that, a couple sets of rear tires, front and rear brake pads, and oil changes every 5-6k miles. 100k will be a milestone but I took my E46 330ci beyond 100k and was far less on top of the maintenance with it.

Just passing 100,450. Other than an O2 sensor failure and Oil filter housing gasket leak, she's been "solid".

I have a 2013 X1 with the n20 with 113k miles (not kilometers). change spark plugs, coils and serpentine belt for preventative measures. dealer changes oil very 6k. no issues with timing chain or guides (knock on wood)

As for AT fluid service, not yet. I'll probably get it taken care of later in the year, closer to the 100k mark. Unfortunately, from what I've seen, it's a pretty involved project, so while I've done all my installs and maintenance myself (minus the blasting), I'll probably have to take it in to get the zf serviced.

57k on mine mine, bought it at 52, did the trans service (7 qt's of fluid and new OE pan), an alignment (front tension arm bushings are already shot), diff fluid change and put some new oil in it. In the 2 months I've owned it, I've put about 4000 miles on it, averages about 35-36mpg on the highway, absolutely can not ask for more. Quite a nice upgrade from my M5.

I'm at 110k and mildly tuned since 5k and no issues at all and I drive it quite spirited almost all the time, only thing starting to wear quick are some interior pieces, specifically my driver side door pull and recently my drivers outside door handle stopped working, I believe its the wire that pulls the latch that either broke or came out, has anybody else had this problem???

you need to specify your model
F30 involves the N20/N26 and N55 ... now B48 and B58 engines i've seen many people say the N20/26 engine isn't a proven platform ... i guess a thread like this will tell
