Absolutely no rubbing at all & won't be even after lowering it 1" on Dinan springs.
If you do 40Z the diameter will be 26.7" which will be approx .7" more than stock. Also the Revs/Mile will be 755 which will less than stock which will through off your speed reading.

Gotcha. Going from 225/50/17 to 245/40/19 will actually correct my speedometer (I think). I'm actually reading roughly 3 MPH over actual (compared to my phone's onboard speedometer using Waze) so I think it'll make it more accurate for my instance going from 780 Revs/Mile to 755 Revs/Mile.

this setup is very mild.... there should be no rub even lowered

You don't. He first stated you don't need spacers (by looking at your car), and then said unless you're changing dampers (implying perhaps a more extreme setup), he recommended something like eibach for a mild drop.

Wow! I could not be any happier with the difference I feel from the reduced unsprung weight from this set-up. I lost 4# from each front corner and 6.5 from each rear (wheel & tire together compared to OEM). I can't decide if the MPPSK addition or this wheel/tire set up made more of a difference!

I was really interested in the OEM BMW 351M wheels until I realized they weigh 32#! I just couldn't do it... these 19" Flow Formed STANCE wheels weigh 23#/front and 24.5#/rear.

And for some reason, the OEM Conti SCS SSR Run Flats (junk - terrible tires... removed these at just 22,000 miles) rear tires are 4 pounds heavier than the Michelins! 30# Conti vs. 26# Michelin... fronts are just 1# different.

FRONT: 19 X 8.5 +35 with Pilot Sport A/S 3+ 225/40
REAR: 19 X 9.5 + 40 with Pilot Sport A/S 3+ 255/35

I prefer the 5-spoke look... these are similar to the E92 335is wheels, pictured below.
